Friday, November 5th - New Years Day - Veer Samvat 2548 - Vikram Samvat 2078

7:00 AM – 7:30 am: Puja
7:30 am - 9:00 am: Reading of Manglik - Auspicious Sutras and Arti and Mangal Divo
9:15 am – 10:00 am: Diwali Snack: New Year Day Celebration Alpahar (Light Breakfast)
All are welcome to bring their favourite Diwali / New Year Snacks (though not necessary).

Sunday, November 7th - JCGB Diwali Celebrations and Annual General Body Meeting

Diwali Program starts at 10.00 am sharp and we will have the following:

 1)Performances by Pathshala Students
  • Pathshala students have gone all out in preparing Dances and Skits for your enjoyment. This will be broadcasted via zoom:

2) Annual General Body Meeting - Learn how the Jain Center is doing and what are the plans for the future. 
  • Report by the President
  • Report by the Treasurer
  • Report by the Chairman of the Board
We will also share information about our Membership and Volunteering efforts and opportunities.

This year we will be limiting the attendance for the in person Diwali program to 250 people. RSVP will be closed on November 4th Thursday at 10 pm or at the count of 250 people - whichever is reached first.

Tuesday - November 9th - Gyan Panchami Celebration

9:30 am – 10:00 am: Puja
10:00 am - 12:00 pm:  Dev Vandan and reading of auspicious sutras specific to this day.
12:15 pm - 1:30 pm: Lunch:  Ekasana arrangement will be made if there is sufficient interest,
though one does not have to observe ekasanu in order to attend the event.
